LED Emergency Drivers For Use In Canada


LEDs (light-emitting diodes) are transforming the lighting industry. As with traditional types of lighting, LED fixtures used as emergency lighting units must meet code requirements for emergency illumination. Philips Bodine emergency LED drivers allow the fixtures to do just that. When normal power fails, the emergency drivers, which work in conjunction with the AC LED driver, immediately switch into emergency mode, operating the LEDs for a code-compliant 90 minutes. When AC power is restored, the drivers automatically return to the charging mode.

BSL17C
The Philips Bodine BSL17C Emergency LED Driver supports a lighting load up to 7.0 W at rated current of 200 mA maximum.  BSL17C, working in conjunction with the AC driver, will supply a minimum 90 minutes of emergency lighting when operating in emergency mode. The BSL17C is suitable for indoor and damp and is ideal for downlight applications. A non-conduit version, BSL17, is additionally suitable for sealed & gasketed fixtures. Both models are UL Component Recognized.

BSL17C-C2
The Philips Bodine BSL17C-C2 Emergency LED Driver supports a lighting load up to 7 W at a rated current of 270 mA maximum for a minimum of 90 minutes. The class 2 emergency LED driver is ideal for LED downlight applications. It is compatible with the Philips Fortimo™ DLM (downlight module) and SML (spot light module). BSL20LV-cUL
The Philips Bodine BSL20LV-cUL Emergency LED Driver converts high output LED fixtures into code-compliant emergency lighting sources. The drivers provide 20W of constant output power, a nominal 2000 lumens and a 90-minute runtime. The BSL20LV-cUL offers 20-50V for low voltage lighting.

BSL26C
The Philips Bodine BSL26C Emergency LED Driver operates a lighting load up to 5.1 W at a rated current of 265 mA (max.) for a minimum of 90 minutes in emergency mode.  The BSL26C is ideal for LED downlight applications, features a flexible output voltage range of up to 30 VDC and is output LVLE compliant.  The dual input (120/277V) unit is available in multiple mounting configurations and in a non-conduit version, BSL26. It is suitable for indoor and damp. BSL26 is also suitable for sealed & gasketed fixtures. Both BSL26C and BSL26 are UL Component Recognized.

BSL36LP
The Philips Bodine BSL36LP Emergency LED Driver provides a smaller low-profile footprint for LED fixtures operating as emergency lighting sources. The low-profile emergency driver is an ideal choice for space-limited or architecturally sensitive fixtures. The BSL36LP has 600 lm @ 25° C based on 100 lm/w efficacy) supported by 6W (initial) regulated power. It is a Class 2 unit and is UL Component Recognized for factory installation.

BSL310-CAN
The Philips Bodine BSL310-CAN Emergency LED Driver is designed to provide code-compliant emergency lighting for linear LED strip fixtures. The BSL310-CAN comes in various configurations such as with a polycarbonate case or a metal case with or without conduit. BSL310-CAN is field installable when used with the Philips EvoKit G2 LED Retrofit Luminaire. The BSL310-CAN are field installable with the EVO kit.

BSL310LP
The Philips Bodine BSL310LP Emergency LED Driver provides a convenient low-profile footprint for LED fixtures operating as emergency lighting sources. The low-profile emergency driver is an ideal choice for space-limited or architecturally sensitive fixtures. BSL310LP increases its appeal with high lumen output (1000 lm @ 25° C based on 100 lm/w efficacy) supported by 10W (initial) regulated power. It is a Class 2 unit and is UL Component Recognized for factory installation.

BSL310SB
The BSL310SB’s separate battery design increases installation options. In addition to offering installation flexibility, the BSL310SB brings application flexibility to the table as a Class 2, universal input unit that can be used with a broad range of LED lighting loads.

BSL722
The BSL722 can be used with an LED lighting load of up to 23.1 Watts at rated current of 700 mA for 90 minutes. If used in an emergency-only fixture, no AC driver is necessary. The BSL722 is suitable for universal input applications, damp locations and sealed and gasketed fixtures.It is ideal for high-lumen outdoor applications. The BSL722 is UL Component Recognized and CSA Certified.

BSL722 Cold
The BSL722 Cold Emergency LED Driver for extended temperatures (-20°C to +60°C) operates a lighting load up to 23.1 W at a rated current of 700 mA maximum for a minimum of 90 minutes in emergency mode. The BSL722 Cold is ideal for security lighting and other outdoor high-brightness applications in cold temperatures. The emergency LED driver features a flexible output voltage range of 28 to 33 VDC and is suitable for damp locations and for sealed & gasketed fixtures. BSL722 Cold is UL Component Recognized and CSA Certified.
