Emergency Lighting News The new BSL310SB adds flexibility to LED Emergency solutions

March 2015

Introducing the BSL310SB
The popular BSL310 line adds a separate battery model for design flexibility

Flexibility is an important feature in emergency lighting. Flexible emergency driver designs can be problem-solvers for OEMs. The new Philips Bodine BSL310SB Emergency LED Driver for LED linear strip fixtures teams flexibility with the Philips Bodine reputation for quality and innovation – a winning combination.

With the BSL310SB’s separate battery design, the batteries are separate from the can, which increases installation options. In addition to offering installation flexibility, the BSL310SB brings application flexibility to the table as a Class 2, universal input unit that can be used with a broad range of LED lighting loads.

The BSL310SB is a battery-backed emergency power supply that operates LED lighting when normal power is lost. The BSL310SB senses the power failure and immediately begins driving the LED load in emergency mode at reduced lumen output for a minimum 90 minutes, in accordance with emergency lighting codes (e.g., NFPA® Life Safety Code®). It can be used with a wide range of LED lighting load configurations (10-50 VDC) and its 10W of emergency output power is compatible with LED linear strip fixtures from a variety of manufacturers.
The BSL310SB is UL Component Recognized and cannot be field installed.
